Doorknobs for kitchen

Elmer, although the glass knobs look great, the hardware they are attached to is very noisy. I've never been able to get them right so that they are quiet when opening a door. They are either so tight that it's difficult to use or too loose where they make too much noise when you use them. If you can adapt them to the newer hardware then do it. I'm sure most don't think of door knobs as being noisy, but it is very noticeable especially in a new house. Simply opening a bathroom door can sound like someone is hanging a picture in the next room.

Oh!, if you are just using these for cabinet pulls only, then forget everything I said before about noisy door knobs. Cabinet pulls are a great idea for these. Of course if you are a fan of The Sixth Sense then one has to be tinted red.

I don't know how this old stuff will work out. They may wind up as pulls, or coathooks.
