Is that chutney in the little dishes? How do Indians eat the chutney?..do they dip the naan in it or just scoop it up with a spoon and put it in their mouth or ladle it across the top of their main dish..or is the whole chutney thing a British modification to authentic Indian cuisine? Inquiring minds want to know, why else would anyone want to visit "Elmer's Place" except to find answers. Right or wrong or just made up stuff. ;)

Elmer has no idea why anyone would want to visit Elmer's Place. elmer does it for his own edification. Elmer is also proud that he knows what "edification" means, but admits that he looked it up just to be sure. Elmer is still puzzling over discovering that at least some Indian restaurants serving beef curry, but didn't go to the trouble to be an inquiring mind. elmer did admire the Indian Restaurant Owners' convertible Mercedes with the personalized TOI license tag parked out front. There is apparently a good living to be made in Indian cusine.
